Staff of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands gathered yesterday, 19th November 2025, for their monthly Mass celebration. Yesterday morning saw colleagues from different commissions come together and promoting unity and shared purpose.

The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Victor Roche, SVD with choir from the Social Communications Commission (SOCOM), Chaplaincy, and the Liturgical Catechetical Institute (LCI). Staff members actively participated in singing and prayers, making the celebration a true reflection of teamwork and devotion.
After the mass, everyone shared a meal along with three MSC Sisters who helped with the choir. The lunch provided a time for conversation, fellowship and building stronger relationships across commissions.

These monthly Eucharistic celebrations are part of the CBC’s ongoing commitment to foster community, unity, and a supportive work environment. This provides an opportunity for staff to reflect on their mission, connect with colleagues, and strengthen the sense of family within the organization.
The day ended in a spirit of gratitude and togetherness, reminding staff that CBC is not only a place of work, but also a community where faith, service, and collaboration are cherished.
