Cardinal Ribat calls for collaboration and peace in Enga Province

Sangurap, Wabag: “I understand that life is challenging and it is not easy, given the current situation in Enga Province, but this should strengthen and encourage us to stand firm and work together to bring peace to our Diocese and Province.”

This was the call made by His Eminence John Cardinal Ribat MSC in the Diocese of Wabag, Enga Province, during the Installation of Bishop Justin Ain Soongie on Thursday August 21, 2025.

When speaking to the people, Cardinal Ribat emphasized that working towards peacebuilding is everyone’s business and needs a collaborative effort from all levels.

Cardinal Ribat commended the people for a well–prepared liturgy and for their participation and encouraged them to be active and faithful evangelizers to bring peace.
