The Catholic Bishops Conference of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands (CBCPNGSI) warmly congratulates Bishop Jozef Roszynski, SVD, on the occasion of his 37 years of religious service.
Ordained a priest on 30 April 1989, Bishop Roszynski has devoted his life to proclaiming the Gospel and serving God’s people, particularly in Papua New Guinea. As a missionary of the Society of the Divine Word and now as Bishop of Wewak, and the Bishop Deputy for the Commission for Social Communications of the CBCPNGSI, he has shown steadfast commitment to pastoral care, education, and the spiritual and social well-being of the faithful.
The CBCPNGSI gratefully acknowledges his generous service, his closeness to the people, and his witness as a shepherd dedicated to walking with the Church in Papua New Guinea. We offer him our prayers and best wishes, asking the Lord to continue to bless his ministry with strength, wisdom, and joy.
