The Catholic Bishops Conference of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands announces the publication of a significant new document from the Holy See’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.

The Document titled  "Venite ad me: Considerations on the Transmission of the Faith in an Epochal Change" was approved by the Holy Father and officially published on the 22nd October 2026. The document addresses how the Church can effectively proclaim the Gospel (the kerygma) and hand on the Christian faith to new generations amidst today’s rapid cultural, social, and technological transformations.
