Visit of Rev. Fr. George Thadathil, SDB
On Friday, 6th March 2026, Rev. Fr. George Thadathil, SDB, General Coordinator of the Salesian Institutions of Higher Education, paid a short but meaningful visit to Don Bosco Technical School. His arrival coincided with a formation session for Salesian Educators facilitated by Mr. Martin Dai, Principal, on the theme “Correcting Students in a Salesian Way.”

Mr. Martin provided the initial input, grounding the educators in practical approaches to correction inspired by Salesian pedagogy. Fr. George, SDB, further enriched the session by introducing the 1–2–4–All method, a facilitation technique that ensures full participation and collective idea generation.
He posed the guiding question: “How can we apply Don Bosco’s Preventive System to help our students stay focused amidst daily distractions?” Seven groups of six members each engaged in reflection and sharing. Their varied responses were concrete, practical, and aligned with the Salesian spirit, offering valuable strategies for supporting students in their daily challenges.
The visit highlighted the importance of collaborative formation and reinforced the commitment of Don Bosco Technical School to nurturing educators in the Salesian way
