The joyous occasion saw the Legionaries and the Junior Legions dress up for their renewal of promise in red and white attires with zealous spirits.

In his inspiring homily, Fr Bernard Peniamo encouraged the Legionaries to always look up to Mother Mary as their role model despite whatever challenge they face in their daily lives.

He expressed his gratitude on the importance of having the Legion of Mary group actively carrying out their ministry in the Parish.

“I am very proud to see all of you here today because our program is very important when it comes to the Annunciation of Mary. As Legionaries, you are not just part of your group in the Parish or Diocese but you are united in spirit and prayer with other Legionaries in the world”.

Present to witness the memorable occasion was the Curia President of St Paul’s Veifa’a Parish Mr Charles Afaisa and Legion of Mary Regia officers from the Archdiocese of Port Moresby.

A Regia is a Curia that governs the Legion of Mary in a larger region, ranking next in status to a Senatus.
