Mingende, Kundiawa: Catholic Priests, Deacons, and Seminarians together with religious brothers and Sisters of Kundiawa Diocese gathered in Mingende Pastoral Center for their recollection on Tuesday April 15, 2025 to prepare them for Easter.

The recollection was initiated by the Local Ordinary, Bishop Paul Sundu and facilitated by Fr. Peter from the Michaelite Congregation. The one - day recollection started began at 10am and ended at 1pm.
The theme of the recollection was “Love Jesus and stay connected with him until the end”. This theme was derived and interpreted from the gospel of John, (15: 1-5).
The aim of the recollection was to help the diocesan clergies with religious brothers and sisters to reconsider their love and commitment they’ve made to follow Jesus in serving others in their ministries and also to prepare them for the celebration of the Chrism Mass which fell the next day.
The moment was also a preparation time for the Diocesan Clergies for Easter.
The participants examined their conscience and reconsidered the vows and commitment in their life ministry and mission to which they’ve served. This also helped them to identify their own strength and weakness in their ministries, and also to reconsider building up communion and solidarity with one another in their ministerial service.
The recollection ended with Adoration and Confession as each priest and religious went away to their respective parishes to prepare for Easter.
