Catholic Church Health Service , Bereina Education Board & National Catholic Education Commission convened today at the Catholic Bishops Conference of PNG & SI headquarter.

November 26th , Port Moresby : Today marked an important gathering for three separate institutions that comes under the Catholic Bishops Conference of Papua New Guinea & Solomon Islands , Catholic Church Health Service, Bereina Education Board, and National Catholic Education Commission convened for a series of board meetings.


These meetings brought together key leaders, including Bishop Deputies , Bishop Otto Separy presided over the Bereina Education Board meeting , Bishop Francis Meli presided over the Catholic Church Health Service & Bishop Pedro Baquero SDB was at the helm of the National Catholic Education Commission.


Present also was the Commission Secretaries, to discuss pressing issues related to health and education within the Catholic community across Papua New Guinea and in the Bereina district.

The meet was also a day for updates , reflection and strategic planning for the coming year.

The Catholic Church has long played a vital role in providing health and education services throughout Papua New Guinea. Its institutions serve many communities, especially in rural and remote areas where government services are limited.
