Aitape: Young people from St Vincent de Paul Parish in Ulau on the east coast and the Corpus Christi sub - parish in Arop 1 on the west coast of Aitape had the chance to have a personal connection with Jesus during the Eucharistic pilgrimage from June 24 - 27, 2025.

With the theme: Young people experiencing the true presence of Jesus in the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the young people committed themselves to Jesus through prayer and fasting during the pilgrimage.
The school holidays also made it possible for the school - aged students to fully participate in the pilgrimage through rosary, divine mercy and adoration.
Priests gave their time to hear confessions, leading adorations, and celebrating masses.
The program not only attracted young people but other congregation members who were spiritually drawn to participate as well at the parish and sub parish levels.
Young people of different ages expressed their immense gratitude to the deanery youth Coordinating team.

"More activities like this should be held to engage young people, provide spiritual nourishment, and empower them at all levels.
The program was made possible through a small contribution of K100 from each youth group within the deaneries.
